Up to speed with an on-demand world

Costs are estimated at nearly $15 to send and receive a high school transcript for college admissions. College to college expenses are even higher. Factor in the number of errors and delays common to manual procedures and the result can be missed deadlines, delayed admissions, and fraud.

Multiply it all by the increasing number of applicants, the new online and adult education opportunities, the lack of standardization in course descriptions and credits, and government requirements for reporting on student achievement and it becomes increasingly difficult to keep up using manual procedures. Add in credential and background checks for teachers which are particularly relevant under the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act, and electronic automation methods become a necessity.
